Led by brothers-in-law, Ollie and Brad, Ronan Building has quickly gained a reputation as a hands-on builder in Lake Macquarie.
We both grew up in the country, and those roots run through everything we do, from our honestly and hard work, to our genuine commitment to our clients and our team. Built on shared standards and complementary skills, our partnership is focused on delivering quality residential projects the right way, every time.
Growing up around Bathurst, I’ve always loved working with my hands and always knew I wanted to be a builder. Time spent on farms and with local builders as a teenager led me into my carpentry apprenticeship in 2012.
After seven years of working on new builds and commercial renovations, I founded Bradbuilt Constructions in 2018.
Under Bradbuilt, I worked my way up from smaller jobs to full renovations and extensions across the Bathurst region.
As Australia’s oldest inland city this gave me the opportunity to work on heritage properties, where fine carpentry and the balance between old and new became something I truly took pride in.
In 2023, my wife and I relocated to Newcastle for new opportunities (and the beach).
Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors with family and friends, at the beach, on the water, hiking, or camping.
With over a decade in the construction industry, I started my career labouring on the Parkes Hospital build before completing a carpentry apprenticeship in Orange, working across heritage properties and large rural homes. Promoted to Foreman, I developed a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship and hands-on leadership.
In 2021, my wife Lydia and I relocated to Newcastle so she could pursue her nursing career. It was then I completed a Bachelor of Construction Management at the University of Newcastle, which deepened my understanding of the industry.
That foundation strengthened my commitment to delivering better outcomes for clients through clear communication, sound management, and high-quality building practices.
From there, I founded Revive Carpentry before evolving the business into Revive Bathroom Solutions in 2023, specialising in bathroom renovations.
Since welcoming our daughter in August 2025, family life has taken centre stage. We love getting outdoors together, whether it’s camping, kayaking, and simply being in nature.
We had been crossing paths on projects around Lake Macquarie for years before the idea of a permanent partnership ever came up. It was a knock-down rebuild in Marmong Point that really cemented things. Working side by side, we realised how well we worked together.
In the years that followed, we continued collaborating, sharing ideas, and gradually recognising that what we each brought to the table was different in the best possible way.
So in February 2025, we made it official and joined forces together.
At Ronan, we’re proud to support the charities working to make our community and beyond a better place for everyone
